Ai Security Engineer

Tier 1 bank seeks a security engineer with knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
This is a newly created VP level role which has come about due to a large programme across the bank to adopt generative AI use cases, creating demand for security as a control function as the programme (which is now over a year old) begins to scale.
The role is for an experienced individual contributor and will involve securing AI (protecting prompts, responses, etc.) and helping to put generative AI models into production and safely securing them. You will need to protect AI at scale, in both the cloud and on-premises, both generative AI and non-generative AI. This is a role at the cutting edge of security engineering.
As part of this role, you may also spend a small proportion of your time using machine learning and AI to help improve security processes. Additionally, you may consider AI in the hands of threat actors, e.g., how to protect against deep fakes.
The successful candidate must have a background as a security engineer (hands-on experience of security tooling and technologies is required) with additional knowledge of AI gained either via a Master's degree or work experience in AI.
You will be required in the office (Manchester, Northampton, or Glasgow) 2 days a week, with 3 days working from home. Visa sponsorship is not available.
