Job Title: AI ResearcherAs the AI Researcher, your primary responsibility will be for researching AI programs and solutions that have already been developed and providing feedback to department heads on how these technologies can be implemented to enhance departmental efficiency. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions tailored to our specific needs. It is a hybrid position requiring a self-equipped workstation with a personal computer and a reliable internet connection from home, with occasional in-person meetings at our Westville office.What you will doAnalyzing AI technologies and assessing their potential impact on departmental efficiency.Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for implementing AI across various departments, including operations, finance, and customer service.Researching AI models, algorithms, and systems to automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve decision-making.Providing recommendations and feedback on the implementation of AI solutions.Working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of AI solutions.Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and industry best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.Communicating findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders through reports, presentations, and demonstrations.Integrating AI capabilities into existing systems and applications while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.You will need to get the job doneBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.Proven experience in AI research, machine learning, and data analysis.Strong knowledge of AI algorithms, frameworks, and tools.Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks is an advantage (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Prior experience in implementing AI solutions for workplace efficiency or process automation is a plus.Who we are and what we doWho we are: iX Online is a proudly South African and independent digital solutions company that specializes in website design, vehicle stock solutions and digital marketing.
