Job DescriptionFarm Manager SA is seeking an experienced and skilled Agricultural Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring timely and accurate execution of production tasks, managing stock, labor, and production costs, and motivating and mentoring a team of workers.Salary: R 150,000 - R 200,000 per annumKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate execution of production tasks as communicated by and agreed with the Production ManagerManagement of stock, labor, and production costs, record keeping and reports to Production ManagerMotivate, mentor, coach, and manage a team of workers, with special reference to supervisors and scoutsRegular meetings with scouts to ensure Pest & Disease identification and management system run efficientlyCommunicate and motivate interventions with regards to pest, irrigation, pruning, and other production-related matters due to specific visual interpretation, discrepancies, or deviances from the standardRequirementsGrade 12Relevant Qualification in Agriculture/Farming would be advantageousMinimum of 2-5 years experience in farming/managerial roleCode C1(10) Drivers LicenceBenefitsCompetitive salaryOngoing training and development opportunitiesA dynamic and supportive work environment
