Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Operations Manager to join our team at Farm Manager SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the agricultural operations and ensuring the efficient running of the packhouse.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the agricultural department, including crop management and harvesting.Manage the packhouse team, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with BRC and HACCP standards.Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking and reporting on operational performance.Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency throughout the year.Collaborate with the HR team to ensure that all HR-related activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.Provide leadership and guidance to the packhouse team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.RequirementsNational Diploma/ Degree in HR.Agricultural and or Business Diploma / Degree advantageous.Previous Agricultural related experience.At least 5-10 years experience in operational environment, preferably agriculture.Previous packhouse experience essential.Experience with working with BRC / HACCP advantageous.Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Previous HR experience essential.Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
