MAC Consulting is looking for an Agile Project Manager who would be responsible for leading and managing Capital projects from start to finish. This includes planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project using agile principles. The Agile Project Manager must have a strong understanding of Agile mindset, behaviors, skills, methodologies, and tools and be able to effectively apply them to manage the project and the team.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure best fit agile project delivery approach (considering the context and nature of work involved)
Agile project planning and execution; Agile forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation; Investment and benefits tracking
Proactively monitor and manage progress/risks/issues/dependencies/opportunities and influence informed decision-making for responsible adaption (where applicable)
Constant focus on project delivery value and viability. Ensure project benefits are realized early and incrementally (as applicable)
Ensure the timely cadence for alignment, planning, execution, reviews, and retrospection
Ensure a systemic view for sustainable project execution and delivery; Steer projects outcomes towards strategic vision
Influence collaboration between agile and non-agile aspects (beyond project scope) within the delivery ecosystem
Influence and ensure agile people change management for the project team
Creating and maintaining project documentation. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Ambassador for the project. Ensures effective stakeholder management, stakeholder communication, and reporting for the project
Creating an environment where project teams are enabled to ensure maximum project ROI through adoption of agile mindset, behaviors, skills, processes, structures, methods, and tools
Role models agility mindset, behaviors, and usage of agility skills; Build and lead a high-performance Agile project team, including managing team members
Provides agile coaching to project team (using various agile coaching stances – coaching, mentoring, training, role modeling, advisory) as relevant in the agile project delivery context
RequirementsExperience At least 5-7 years of overall project management experience. Of which at least 3-5 years is of agile project management experience
At least 1-2 years of experience in capital projects
Strong experience on Azure DevOps, JIRA or any other agile project management tool
Exposure to people change management principles
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Agile project management certification is advantageous
Exposure to ITIL and ITSM practices
Skills Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects using agile principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and team members.
Ability to manage risk and resolve conflicts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
