IntroductionOur client requires the services of a Delivery Assurance Manager (Senior) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation.Amazing brand with cutting-edge technologyExcellent teams in Global team collaborationHigh work-life balance with Flexible hoursAgile working environmentEXPERIENCE: 4-6 Years related working experience.COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible.Duties & ResponsibilitiesROLE:Provides active and regular mentorship to other Agile MastersSupports multiple Feature Teams in complex Products / Sub-products up to Domain levelProvides key insights into the evolution of Agile KPIs in complex Agile Teams to improve efficiencies at an organisational levelContributes significant value in relevant CoPs through active leadershipGuides the team on the use and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practicesAligns within bigger teams to ensure good collaboration and value adding outcomesCollaborates with Product Owners and colleagues across multiple sites/locationsGives structure to workshops and meetings to lead and facilitate the team's Agile way of working, including facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolutionAssesses the agile maturity of the team and organisation and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team/projectsAssists with internal and external communication and improving transparency, demonstrating the status/performance of the team as a key elementSupports the Product Owner with grooming processes, product backlog management, and sprint refinementAssists with project- and team coordination tasks when requiredRegularly updates and improves product confluence pages & documentation within the ProductDesired Experience & QualificationQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:IT Degree and/or Agile Master Certified with 6+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent qualificationsAt least 10 years' experience in the IT/Software DevOps industry is essentialOne or more of the following certifications: Certified SAFe Release Train engineer (scaledagile.com)ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Ability to manage a technical team using agile methodologiesLeadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyKnowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (e.g., numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)KPI monitoring and ITSM reporting/feedbackAbility to manage a technical/operational team using agile methodologiesAny additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) CharterADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS:Excellent knowledge and experience in applying Agile scaled models (e.g., SAFe, Nexus, LeSS)Knowledge of GROUP Agile Working Model and ITPM (Advantageous)Excellent proficiency in the Agile Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence, X-Ray, BitBucket)Understanding the IT Travel Management system and ZA Hub team setupHR Services, Recruitment & Selection
