After Sales Support Engineer

Our client in the Automation industry is urgently looking to employ an experienced After Sales Support Engineer at their organization.Location: Somerset West, Cape TownRequirementsEngineering degreeTechnical experience with regards to mechanical, electricity, and automationPrevious exposure with the installation of special machinery; multi-technical field will be an advantageFully bilingual (Afrikaans & English). Spanish or French would be an advantageMust have a valid driver's license and a valid/renewable passportMust be willing to travel – mostly in South Africa but international travel will be a requirement from time to timeResponsibilitiesProvide support to company customers by combining all the queries from our customers.Organise assistance with the technical team available (company technicians and/or technical agent).Be part of the installation and commissioning of new machinery from inception to completion by ensuring a follow-up of the installation by visiting projects at key moments of the installation.Deal and follow up on customer queries and complaints by providing after sales service, focusing on technical advice (recommend parts replacement, services, etc.), organising a team to go on intervention and process in place.Provide detailed feedback to the group to implement technical solutions.Encourage a "learn from experience" culture within the technical team by sharing and re-applying technical knowledge to improve efficiency of the team.Specialized training, unique to the Company Group, will be provided to the successful candidate.Desired SkillsAfter Sales SupportTechnical SkillsAutomation Skills
