We're seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to manage the credit risk of a diverse portfolio. This role requires an analytical thinker who can critically assess credit data, monitor risks, and provide strategic recommendations to credit committees.Responsibilities:Managing credit risk for a portfolio of counterparties by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risksConducting in-depth financial analysis, peer comparisons, and industry trend assessmentsPreparing and presenting high-quality credit applications to credit committeesCollaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Legal departments to facilitate new transactionsEnsuring the accuracy and timeliness of credit ratings and documentationMonitoring portfolio limits and exposures while resolving breaches efficientlyRequirements:A relevant degree with 6-8 years of experience in credit analysisExpertise in financial statement analysis, credit processes, and commercial law principlesStrong numerical and analytical skills, coupled with excellent report writing and presentation abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and exceptional organisational skills EE Disclaimer:All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
