Kearsney has an outstanding record of academic achievement in the IEB Matriculation Examinations and provides a dynamic sporting and cultural offering.Kearsney College invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Afrikaans Teacher (First Additional Language) for Grades 8 to 12.Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:B Education (FET / GET) or Bachelor's degree and PGCE;Prior IEB teaching experience with a minimum of five years subject specialisation;Proven track record of delivering outstanding results;Passion for teaching Afrikaans First Additional Language and a commitment to pupil success;Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with pupils and colleagues;Excellent administrative, planning and organising skills;Ability to innovate and skilfully integrate technology into the classroom to enhance the learning experience;Willingness to be fully involved in the life of the school, which includes the extensive extra-curricular programme, pastoral care and the boarding establishment;IEB NSC marking experience is an added advantage;Valid SACE registration.All Kearsney academic staff are provided with housing accommodation on the estate or receive a living-out allowance and other generous benefits.
