Purpose of
Job
The Traffic Controller Consultant assists the Africa Traffic Controller to regulate the flow of work in the department. The Traffic Controller Consultant also assists with the allocation of work across Africa.
This role supports the PwC Africa territory of firms and CMD teams at those firms. As the largest firm in the PwC Africa territory, this role also directly supports PwC South Africa and the PwC South Africa CMD
team.
Responsibilities:
Assists with the flow of work in the department; coordinates requests for CMD services centrally and allocates work to departments and individuals
Coordinates the Africa CMD work management system with a focus on meeting of deadlines and allocation of work:
Check new job specs and briefs, opening of new
job
bags where
necessary
If briefs, specs, documents or information is missing follow up with the client
Responsible for allocation of work to the correct team and ensuring that they meet deadlines
Ensure all work has passed through the proper approval
processes
Manage day-to-day timelines and work
flows
Monitor work management system throughout the
day
Report any problems to Africa Traffic Controller
Manager
Coordinates feedback process, ensuring that Africa CMD's clients have the opportunity to give feedback on overall service delivery through the work management system
Assists with producing regular status reports, traffic meetings where necessary (this should include number of queries, time to deliver solution and feedback)

Requirements
Project management and time management
skills
3-5 years' experience with marketing technology, system management, administrative or other relevant experience
preferred
Prior experience with work management / job bag system for managing complex and varied requests preferred
