Role summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Affiliate Account Manager to join our dynamic Partnerships team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with affiliate partners and influencers, as well as identifying and recruiting new affiliates to grow our affiliate network. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our affiliate program delivers on its targets and supports the growth of the brand.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports betting and a solid understanding of the affiliate marketing landscape, but we will also consider applicants with strong account management experience in related fields
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in Affiliate Marketing: Previous experience managing affiliate relationships, preferably within the sports betting or online gaming industry.
- Account Management Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar client-facing role.
- Understanding of Sports Betting: Knowledge of sports betting products and services is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing relationships and negotiating deals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and reporting skills to track affiliate performance and optimize campaigns.
- Negotiation & Networking: Ability to negotiate and build relationships with a variety of partners, including influencers, bloggers, and media outlets.
- Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage Affiliate Relationships: Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing affiliate partners and influencers, ensuring they are motivated and engaged.
- Recruit New Affiliates: Identify and recruit new affiliate partners to expand our affiliate program, including bloggers, influencers, and digital marketing experts.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor affiliate performance and provide insights and feedback to optimize campaigns and improve performance metrics.
- Affiliate Campaign Management: Work with affiliates to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and incentives that drive traffic and customer acquisition.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on affiliate performance, commissions, and traffic, presenting insights to the Partnerships & Activations Manager to inform strategy.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate commission structures, contracts, and promotional opportunities with affiliate partners.
- Stay Current on Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving sports betting landscape in South Africa.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in the sports betting industry will be advantageous.
