Boxer Superstores Head Office in Westville is looking for an enthusiastic Advertising Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a 6 month fixed- term contract! As an Advertising Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing promotional advertisements across various platforms, working closely with the Commercial and Fresh Departments to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging. Minimum Requirements
Matric is essential
3 year Diploma/Degree in Marketing/ Retail is essential
2 years' experience in a retail/FMCG environment with promotions, advertising and media will be a key advantage
Computer literacy is essential
BoMM system knowledge will be an advantage
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment
Good communication skills
Good time management skills.
Must have a creative mind, take initiative and be a quick learner
Ability to communicate in Zulu/Xhosa/Sotho/etc. is essential due to vernacular radio script advertising
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the creation of Boxer's promotional product and price advertisements in the form of leaflets, newspapers, etc.
Work on multiple promotional tasks within an extremely deadline driven environment.
Work cohesively with other team members across different departments to produce accurate promotional advertisements for Boxer customers.
Marketing Administration - Collect and analyse competitor advertising and communicate relevant findings and track
Attend promotional sign-off meetings with relevant Commercial and Fresh department teams
Approve final promotional material before going to print
Ensure RMS is successfully used
Ensure that one is up to date with the latest RMS improvements and updates
Cross check barcodes/images with Silo image library
Completing all tasks utilizing RMS
