Litigation Attorney PositionLooking for a qualified and admitted litigation attorney, to be employed as an associate/professional assistant at the firm.Responsibilities:Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in general litigation, both High Court and Magistrate's Court.Must be able to work unsupervised and have an appetite for litigation.Should have excellent drafting skills and be confident in court.Must be computer literate and well versed in Outlook, Word, and Excel; must be able to do own typing.Compensation:Salary will consist of a basic salary plus a commission structure on fees brought in. Generally, even a newly appointed attorney averages about R22,000 – R25,000 per month at my firm. An attorney with 5 – 10 years of experience should easily manage to earn R30,000.There is an existing client base to work from, and an associate should build and/or expand their client base as well. This provides a good platform for any diligent and hardworking attorney to grow from.No other benefits are offered.
