Your opportunity:
The Rehabilitation Sciences Sector (RSS) is a leader in delivering rehabilitation sciences health professional programs and research. As Admissions and Student Services Administrator, you will support the admissions process and student success, advising students on academic and financial matters, relaying information about program requirements, and verifying information such as course material and student access.
Your responsibilities will include: Advising students and potential applicants on academic and financial mattersAdvising on the review process for petitions and appealsAnalyzing and making recommendations on award funding allocationMaintaining data and generating reports about enrollment projectionsCoordinating event logistics for Orientation Day, Research Day, and convocation planningManaging all aspects of the admissions process including reviewing applicationsEssential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experienceMinimum four years of related experience in a student admissions environmentStrong understanding of principles of equity and experience working with under-represented groupsExperience advising prospective applicants, students, and parents on admission requirementsDemonstrated knowledge of admissions, enrollment, awards, funding, and registrationExperience assessing and recommending award funding allocationAdvanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and student information systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skillsProven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracyTo be successful in this role you will be: ProactiveResponsibleSelf-directedTeam playerPlease note that this position is an 18-month term.
