Admissions Administrator - Immigration (Maternity cover)UWCSEA is looking to hire an Admissions Administrator - Immigration for a maternity cover, from January to August 2025.The Admissions Administrator - Immigration manages the College's immigration records held online for new and current students and their parents or guardians, guides families through the Singapore immigration compliance issues for Foreign System Schools and ensures accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.Working hours:Able to work based on the following schedule to ensure Admission activities are run smoothly:January to March = 5 mornings a week (7:45am - 12 noon) = 20 hrs per weekApril to August = 5 full days a week = 40 hrs per weekMain ResponsibilitiesGuiding families in their submission of new Student Pass applications to the ICA for Day Students and registering them online to facilitate the applications.Guiding families in their submission of Student Pass renewal applications to the ICA for Day Students and registering them online to facilitate the renewals.Guiding families in their cancellation of Student Passes and related Long Term Visit Pass implications.Handling all email and verbal queries on immigration issues related to enrolment at the College.Verifying all submitted immigration pass updates in CIMS database accurately in a timely manner.Corresponding with families where incomplete or inaccurate information is held or entered into the CIMS database.Chasing families for updated submissions as necessary and the follow-up as needed.Highlighting any non-compliant issues to the Registrar for further action.Liaising with Boarding teams to ensure that there is continuity of practice between Day and Boarding teams with regard to immigration issues.Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College.Person SpecificationsUniversity degree or Higher Education qualification preferred.Relevant experience, ideally in an educational setting.Experience in customer-facing roles involving both telephone and email communication preferred, or a track record of strong written and oral communication skills.Experience in detail-oriented work involving accuracy of data entry and timely accomplishment of tasks essential.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the education sector or a related industry.Motivated self-starter, curious, resourceful and independent; keen to learn.A team player with ability to collaborate with management and functional departments.Excellent customer service; able to interact well with different stakeholders.Good communication skills; able to build and maintain excellent rapport with all levels of associates.Well-organised and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively; accurate and meticulous.Strong business integrity and holds sensitive information in confidence.The UWC Mission is to make education a force to unite people, nations and culture for peace and a sustainable future.
