Quoting AdministratorWe are looking for a quoting Administrator to join the operations team. We are a tech-centric shipping company that offers clients, all around the world, logistics and compliance services to move anything from anywhere to anywhere. Originally launched to just handle simple shipping within the group, we have evolved to offer a host of more solutions and will continue to be innovative and push the boundaries to solve our clients' problems.The person would be managing him/herself, so would need to have the maturity to work independently. They should have a strong personality as the team deals with global suppliers and the timelines are tight, in a highly pressurized and time-sensitive environment.DutiesThe primary responsibility of this function is collating quote information and liaising with the Senior Quotation Specialists team.Capturing quotation information on the company Portal for any request from the client or account managers where required.Effectively log and track the quotes.Liaise with the Senior Quotation Specialists team to ensure all costs are fair and equitable.Liaise with the Account Managers regarding client requirements and obtaining further information for quoting.Liaise with the finance department on any billing queries they have on the quote and final invoice.Support the Senior Quotation Specialists team with demand peaks.Review and update quotations where appropriate.Raise initial queries to the Senior Quotation Specialists team on suppliers for any missing quote information.Monitor and manage the Quotations mailbox and distribute, action or file accordingly in a timely manner.Keep abreast of country and supplier requirements when quoting.QualificationsYou may be a fit for this role if you:Have a natural "knack" for sales.Are comfortable and good with numbers.Detail-oriented.Are driven by highly pressurized situations.Can handle several queries and follow-ups simultaneously, excellent multitasking skills.Have a strong personality, with preferably 1+ year of experience working with customers and problem-solving.Are client-centric – able to liaise with clients.Are adaptable to new and uncertain situations, driven to find solutions.Are self-motivated.Prefer self-management and strive to solve problems, find solutions, and achieve success through dedication without being micromanaged.Enjoy engaging with a diverse group of global clientele and suppliers.Are open to working flexible hours in that some overtime work may be required or to work on public holidays (rotational basis).CultureCulture comes first!
