Summary of job:The administrative assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient daily operations within an organization.
He / She will contribute to the smooth functioning of the production department by facilitating administrative processes such as managing orders coming in from suppliers, maintaining filing systems, obtaining quotations for urgent parts and consumables needed for production and contributing to overall team productivity.Key Responsibilities / Main Job duties:Filing and Record-Keeping: Maintaining organized filing systems (both physical and digital) to ensure easy retrieval of documentsData Entry and Database Management: Inputting and updating information in databases or spreadsheets as neededAdministrative Support: Providing general administrative support such as photocopying, faxing, filing expense reports, and coordinating mailAd Hoc Tasks: Undertaking additional tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors or managersDirecting Communications: Managing phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, and directing them to the appropriate person or departmentCandidate requirements:Type of qualification: Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistantYears of experience required: N/AProfessional license(s) required: N/AIs the person required to have their own transport: YesProficiency in certain applications/computer programmes: Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)Sound knowledge of: office management systemsNon-negotiable skills: strong organizational skills with the ability to multitaskThank you for applying with RareCruit!Follow us on social media for the latest jobs, trends and market insight:Website:
