Our Depot, based in Jet Park Depot, has a permanent opportunity available for an Administrator: Workshop. Strong organizing and administration skills are necessary for this role, as well as a high respect for the timelines affecting the role and a team player attitude. This position is an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding of the car rental business within a fast-paced, exciting industry.
Position Overview
The purpose of this role is to effectively control losses and increase recoveries through the management of the workshop process and capturing of order and data to ultimately minimize down time with out of service vehicles.
To ensure the availability of parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance, processing all storekeeping transactions accurately and timeously through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Job Outputs:
Action vehicles in workshop line that can be processed through the day.
Generate non-revs to the dealerships.
Follow up daily on vehicles at dealerships.
Issue purchase orders within a timely manner of receiving quotations.
Control and check daily mechanics time sheets.
Update service history and small jobs on all relevant systems.
Capturing and releasing of orders in accordance with a standardized process.
Resolving of workshop related queries within set time frame or escalate matter if required.
Receipting to be done within set time frame in relation to the notification of completed job and/or part delivered.
Ensure all workshop related documents are sent for scanning once updating of systems are completed.
Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure work areas are maintained clean and safe at all times.
Assist with vehicle movements when required.
All other varied and general administrative duties not specified.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience
2 years of relevant administration experience.
Minimum Qualification
Matric or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
Preferred Qualification
Business Management or other relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum Requirements
Valid unendorsed driver's license.
Computer literacy with a high level of accuracy.
Important to note: The appointed person may be required to work weekends/shifts/overtime as required.
