About the job Administrative Supervisor FinanceDATE OF DISTRIBUTION: 10.09.2024CLOSING DATE: 17.09.2024DEPARTMENT: FinancePURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide a professional management accounting and administrative service to management and staff in order to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, approval frameworks and internal controls.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:National Diploma / Relevant Degree in Finance and / or Management Cost Accounting is essential.CIMA/SAICA/SAIPA Accredited would be an advantage.Minimum of 1-year relevant experience as a Junior Accountant in a finance environment would be an advantage.BPC/EPM Super-user training and in-depth knowledge of the system would be an advantage.Knowledge of the Impala Management Accounting reporting & business plan systems would be an advantage.Understanding and acceptance of Impala's code of conduct, policies and procedures is essential.COMPETENCIES:Good communication and leadership skills.Technical and analytical abilities.Deadline-driven & ability to work under pressure.Willingness to work overtime during the business plan.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:Provide systemic support and service to system users and functional management.Complete and maintain the budget and forecasting system for accurate and timeous processing and availability of information.Take ownership of own career development and growth through keeping abreast with changes and development in the financial environment and the development of skills and competencies to ensure that dynamic job requirements are met.Adhere to company's financial/accounting policies and procedures and to ensure the implementation and maintenance of sufficient financial and system controls.Execute adhoc investigation/evaluations or value adding projects as required from management and individual employee.Ensure overall compliance to policies, procedures, approval frameworks and internal controls.
