Your opportunity:
The Joannah & Brian Lawson Centre for Child Nutrition supports research, education, and policy aimed at improving nutrition in children and communities.
The Administrative Officer will support various administrative tasks, coordinating project tasks with stakeholders and improving established processes.
Responsibilities include processing accounts receivable and event planning logistics.
Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating tasks for projects and strategic initiatives with stakeholdersIdentifying and improving established administrative processesProcessing accounts receivable and minor financial transactionsDetermining logistical details for events and programmingConducting systematic literature reviews and drafting knowledge translation documentsEditing content for brochures, newsletters, websites, and handbooksEditing content for grant applicationsEssential Qualifications: Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or equivalent experienceMinimum three years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic institutionExperience coordinating tasks for projects in a complex environmentExperience supporting process improvement initiativesExperience processing accounts receivableStrong experience in event planningExperience conducting systematic literature reviewsStrong editing skills for communications contentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor with strong customer service orientationExceptional organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAssets (Nonessential): Master's degree in nutrition or related discipline (2 years)To be successful in this role you will be: AdaptableMeticulousMulti-taskerProactiveClosing Date: 01/23/2025, 11:59PM ET
