Role Overview: They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Assistant to join their remote team.
In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day administration of pension schemes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Morning Tasks (6:00 AM 9:30 AM): Complete investment applications, bank queries from the previous day, rent invoices, VAT quarterly returns, and Omni double entries.
General Tasks: Respond to emails and telephone queries promptly.
Handle daily banking and related queries.
Receive instructions and complete tasks accurately.
Build and maintain relationships with Scheme Administrators.
Inform clients and financial intermediaries about scheme matters.
Ensure deadlines, performance indicators, and regulatory standards are met.
Identify and escalate risks within the department.
Open and process new investments for clients.
Ensure accuracy in bank mandates and invoice payments.
Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communication.
Essential Skills and Experience: Strong administrative skills with the ability to identify and process data.
Customer-focused with a willingness to improve knowledge and skills.
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Basic bookkeeping and familiarity with financial packages such as Sage or Xero.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of pension products (advantageous but not required; training will be provided).
Requirements: Reliable home office setup with a stable WiFi connection.
Backup power supply to mitigate load-shedding disruptions.
