Job & Company DescriptionsOne of South Africas top brands is offering an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Accountant to join their dynamic, performance-driven environment.
The purpose of this role is to oversee the administration function at the factory, ensuring efficient management and control of all administrative operations within the factory.
As an Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:Monitor daily fuel and diesel usage, and regularly update the fuel/diesel register.Maintain and update the fixed asset register.Prepare and submit weekly/monthly management reports on factory operations.Handle invoicing, returns, and stock receipts.Oversee the credit management function for the factory.Ensure compliance with OHS and food safety standards, in line with legislative and company policies.Manage employee key performance areas, identify training and development needs, and implement fair disciplinary actions to address any deviations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed MatricCompleted Diploma or Degree5 8 years experience in a similar roleManufacturing is non-negotiable
