Part-time adjunct faculty pool in Modern Languages to fill opportunities on a course-by-course basis as need arises.JOB DESCRIPTION The Humanities and Arts Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is regularly seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teachSpanish, German, Chinese, and Arabic . Modern Language faculty offer language instruction through introductory courses,intermediate classes , andadvancedtopic seminars.
We are looking for outstanding scholars, but successful candidates mustalsodemonstrate teaching excellence and versatility as well as an abilityto jumpintoanexisting curriculum with creative and critical pedagogical approaches. A successful candidate should possess native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, German, Chinese, or Arabic and hold a PhD in a n appropriate corresponding discipline.
