We are seeking a talented Short-Term Actuarial Pricing Manager to join our growing team. Position Overview: As the Short-Term Actuarial Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and refining pricing strategies for our short-term insurance products. You will leverage your actuarial expertise to analyze data, assess risk, and optimize pricing models, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and profitable in the market. Key Responsibilities: Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends. Data Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and software tools to analyze large datasets, identifying key trends and insights that inform pricing decisions. Model Development: Design, enhance, and validate pricing models to accurately assess risk and predict future claims. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, detailing pricing strategies, findings, and recommendations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pricing practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a strong focus on ethical considerations. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior actuaries and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A Masters Degree or relevant actuarial certifications (e.g., ACAS, FCAS) is a plus. Proven experience in actuarial pricing within the insurance industry, particularly in short-term products. Strong proficiency in actuarial software and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL). Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
