ResponsibilitiesCapital modelling including reviews of economic capital models, building challenger models and quantitative validation of SAM standard formulaReinsurance reviews and stochastic optimisationincluding geospatial modellingProduct pricing and design, including working with GLMs, GAMs etcBuilding projection models for ORSA and business plansReviewing technical provisions including IBNR, UPR, AURR and including stochastic risk adjustment calculations in R/PythonProducing reports, reviews and analyses results and signing on all areas of short-term actuarial servicesAssist clients across Africa with their IFRS 17 reporting requirementsProvide technical advice to General Insurance clients across AfricaManaging projectsEnsure that reports include insight/value add for clientsSupporting the head of the departmentPerforming market studies and researchMaintain and improve client relationships
