The successful candidate will be expected to support developing reports and extracts from existing and new systems to support operational reporting, experience analysis and valuation requirements.Deep diving into vast datasets, using your analytical skills to create comprehensive operational reports that inform our claims, underwriting and administration processes.Work closely with various departments to understand their reporting and data needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance our operational efficiency.Ensure reporting, valuation and experience extracts remain consistent as data is moved to new systems, and where not consistent, tracking down and resolving any differences.Supporting migration efforts from old to new systems as well as supporting data ingestion processes to ensure good quality data is uploaded into our systems.Utilize tools like R and Power BI to develop and maintain sophisticated reports that provide clear and actionable insights for our team.This is not only a South African role, and responsibilities include supporting business in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada. It also means working with colleagues from other countries.Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for top applicants that are recent actuarial science graduates with good progress with their foundation and intermediate technical subjects. Applicants with a specific interest in data, reporting and analytics will be preferred.
