As a highly innovative team of problem solvers and strategic thinkers, we are passionate about understanding how the world of business-critical modelling is evolving, and we apply our mathematical skills, professional expertise, and intelligent automation platform to help our clients implement cutting edge actuarial modelling.
Established in 2012, we have grown from one office in London, to a team of more than 85 employees across the UK, South Africa, Norway and Australia.
There are two key components to the business; the consulting team advises our clients on actuarial, financial and statistical modelling, and our software team continues to develop our innovative enterprise modelling platform, Psicle. This allows us to provide our clients a unique and complementary offering of a software solution and advice, and our teams work closely together across geographies to deliver these.
Being a close-knit team allows everyone to have a truly meaningful role, with the opportunity to add real value to both our clients and our growing business. Our team tell us that our people, their talent, expertise, collaboration and the work itself, is what makes Dynamo a great place to learn, thrive and grow.
The opportunityWe are looking for a near-qualified or newly qualified non-life actuary with 1 to 3 years' experience and a keen interest in the use of technology, to join us in our drive towards the transformation of actuarial and financial modelling using our award-winning software Psicle.
You will have proven experience of directly supporting internal or external clients to deliver on and improve their actuarial processes, playing a critical role in delivering the project with minimal supervision from senior actuaries.
We focus on transformational projects but also engage a lot in traditional outsourced actuarial services including regulatory and independent reviews. This provides a unique opportunity to grow in traditional aspects of actuarial consulting but also to learn how actuarial teams can leverage technology to apply a suite of innovative actuarial techniques, automate processes and provide better insights to stakeholders.
