Actuarial Analyst

Actuarial Analyst Non-Life (#24625)Required Competencies:Advanced knowledge of MS Office and MS SQL.Intermediate to advanced programming experience.Strong understanding of the components of SCR as prescribed by prudential standards; experience in cell captive structures is advantageous.Non-life insurance experience is a plus.Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Insurance Act, Prudential Standards, IFRS 4, and IFRS 17.Advanced understanding of triangulation methods and large loss reserving techniques for valuing IBNR.Experience and Qualifications:BSc in Actuarial Science or equivalent qualification.Completed or exempted from at least 6 CT actuarial exams.Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant actuarial role.Location:This position is based at the clients office in Sandton.
