Actuarial Analyst

Actuarial Analyst Non-Life (24625) Required Competencies: Advanced knowledge of MS Office and MS SQL. Intermediate to advanced programming experience. Strong understanding of the components of SCR as prescribed by prudential standards; experience in cell captive structures is advantageous. Non-life insurance experience is a plus. Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Insurance Act, Prudential Standards, IFRS 4, and IFRS 17. Advanced understanding of triangulation methods and large loss reserving techniques for valuing IBNR. Experience and Qualifications: BSc in Actuarial Science or equivalent qualification. Completed or exempted from at least 6 CT actuarial exams. Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant actuarial role. Location: This position is based at the clients office in Sandton.
