Job Description This role is responsible for carrying out technical actuarial work, often using complex systems and packages and often accompanies the Senior Actuarial Specialist. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
Main responsibilities: Claims reserving using deterministic and stochastic modelling techniquesSAM & IFRS 17 reportingCapital management and ORSAReinsurance analysisReviewing and enhancing Systems and Processes by developing and enhancing actuarial analytics and improving efficiency through automation and streamlining processesAd-hoc projects and investigations to support business initiatives.Preferred requirements: Made significant progress with actuarial exams (F100's will be advantageous)At least 2+ years of experience in short term reserving and capital modellingExperience in using actuarial software packages for reserving or capital modelling would be preferableCoding skills preferably in Excel VBA, SQL, Python or RExcellent analytical and communication skillsClosing Date: 17 October 2024
