Job Description The Activities Lead reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with the F&B and Front Office Leads to ensure seamless operations of activity programs. The Activities Lead is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of entertainment programs tailored to the needs and age ranges of guests. This role involves supervising the efficient operation of activity services in line with company standards, maximizing revenues and profits within agreed budgetary limits. Requirements Matric Certificate General education in event management At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in event management Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Fluent in English and Afrikaans BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Strong project/task planning skills Highly organized and efficient Pro-active and driven attitude Adaptability and proven flexibility Customer and personal service knowledge, including needs assessment and quality standards Administration and management knowledge related to planning, resource allocation, and leadership Understanding of public safety and security policies and procedures Excellent time management skills Problem sensitivity to recognize issues promptly
