The Star Factory has an exciting opportunity for an Accredited Trainer to join our team.
The Accredited Trainer will deliver accredited training courses to enrolled participants and will be responsible for delivery of the training curriculum and monitoring the effectiveness of training courses to ensure optimal learning.
The Accredited Trainer will mentor learners to ensure applicability of course content within their respective areas of work and track and record learner progress throughout the programme.
Minimum Requirements: Must have completed a degree or appropriate qualificationMust be a registered AssessorHave a valid driver's licenseBe computer literateHave training experienceBonus to have: A qualification in Marketing and or Project ManagementPrevious training experience within the tertiary spaceResponsibilities: Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.Present training interventions in an interactive manner, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.Deliver all Star Factory's accredited training courses to the standard required by the SF management team.Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, adapt and deliver training programs utilizing skills in program design & development, and training methodologies including blended learning and utilizing our e-learning platform Moodle, and Microsoft Teams or any other platform introduced.Customize training to incorporate business requirements.Formally assess the learner portfolios and provide constructive feedback for improvement as per set deadlines.Obtain, organize and distribute the relevant training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials (e.g., handouts or videos) as part of training programmes.Ensure content shared is approved by the team.Able to motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual contact session dynamics.Manage the accredited training programme through following up on experiential learning/self-study as part of the training course to ensure participants adhere to deadlines and complete the course within the scheduled timeframes. Mentor learners on an ongoing basis and record feedback/progress as required.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all training programs. Create high-quality deliverables, measure and present results. Assess training results and provide feedback.Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.Training related administration and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to influence and relate to different cultures and team members from different backgrounds and adapt training accordingly.Maintain training registers and conduct relevant training administrative and record-keeping functions, portfolio of evidence for each participant, etc.Willingness to travel as/when required.Any other related duties.Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate sound presentation skills to capture attention and maintain interest through an interactive approach.Demonstrate high energy, enthusiasm and motivation in execution of work.Strong sense of accountability, dedication, and high sense of responsibility.Be proficient in training methodologies and best practices.Please note that only applicants who meet the stipulated minimum requirements will be considered.
