Key Responsibilities: Daily Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts using Xero software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Address discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues efficiently.
Catch-Up Projects: Work on historical account reconciliations to bring records up-to-date.
Implement best practices to streamline future reconciliation processes.
Ad Hoc Support: Assist the team with miscellaneous financial and administrative tasks as needed.
Provide input and support for various ongoing and new company projects.
System Onboarding and Adaptation: Collaborate with the team to integrate and adapt to new systems and processes.
Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in current workflows.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, sharing ideas and solutions.
Foster a positive, supportive, and proactive team environment.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Educational Background: A high school diploma is required; a relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is an advantage but not essential.
Experience: Previous experience in account reconciliation or a related financial role is preferred.
Familiarity with Xero accounting software is beneficial but not mandatory; basic knowledge of how it functions is sufficient.
Skills and Competencies: Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently and accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with accounting software.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
