We invest heavily in our team members who enjoy industry-leading professional development, exceptional career opportunities, and mobility across our group.POSITION PROFILE:Oversee central debtors' controllers with overall responsibility for:Billing parent accounts (fees, ad-hoc, discounts, credit notes)Management of AR business communication regarding parent statements and lettersManagement of Debit order processing & cash receiptingManagement of Debt collection line with the arrears management policyEnsuring all parent queries are addressed timeously and adequately in line with SLAManagement of the credit check process on new parent accountsMaintain relationship with Head of schools and ensure they are appropriately supported re parent accounts (billing queries, arrears etc.)Enrolments and billing reconciliation checks to validate completeness of revenueAddressing all escalation queries from parentsPERFORMANCE INDICATORS:Debtors' collections effectively managed to ensure debtor's balance is within an appropriate level throughout the yearResponsibility of the following GL accountsIncome statementTuitionDiscountsOther incomeBalance sheetDebtors control accountsUnallocated receiptsSubledger responsibilityDebtors age analysisBilling to enrolment reconREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:At least 5 years' experience within an AR division, ideally experience in a school/tertiary environment and/or customer experienceIdeally relevant Accounting/Business degree/diplomaJob and organisational knowledgeKnowledge of the Accounting PackageStrong financial skillsBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:Staying on-task to completion, particularly in the face of obstacles or other trying circumstancesAbility to work effectively and productively with people in a customer context, especially in addressing customer escalationsAbility to work well under pressureExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to interact positively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, students, parents and third partiesWell organised with attention to detail and the ability to think and work quickly and calmly in a demanding environmentPositive and enthusiastic demeanourATTRIBUTES:Highly MotivatedFlexible and adaptableSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:Inspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
