Accounts Payable Manager (Retail)

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who will be responsible for management of the creditors function within the company. This includes maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating and improving terms and credit limits, enhancing and automating the creditors process, assisting with cost accounting for capital projects, and ensuring accuracy in supplier aging. The manager will ensure that accounts payable duties are carried out in a timely and accurate manner while upholding the required standards to achieve the company's financial and business objectives.Responsibilities:Accounting Management systems.Stakeholder Management.Report writing.Management skills.Experience with data entry.Experience in data analysis.Key Skills:Excellent reconciliation skills and financial applicable technical knowledge.Sound working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages.Completely proficient in English.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Structured and organised approach.Self-starter, flexible, energetic, confident.Strong resistance to pressure and experience in a high-volume environment.Attention to detail.Problem solving.Analytical Thinking.Conflict Management.Strategic Thinking.Time Management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Completed articles would be an advantage.At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 3 in a management role.Experience in working in a shared services environment or managing a large accounts payable team.Retail experience is advantageous.
