Job DescriptionJob Title: Accounts Payable Controller Disbursements & SARS DefermentsReporting Line: Accounts Payable ManagerMain Responsibilities:Preparation of Daily and Monthly Payments to SARS according to laid down proceduresGenerating of daily Customs Payment ReportsDaily capturing of Deferment invoices as per the Customs ReportsTaking responsibility for Deferment recons and ensuring payment is made in accordance with SARS requirementsAllocation of payments & invoices to correct Deferment CreditorsLoading of payments on E-filingFollow-up & Resolution of all Deferment account related queriesLiaising with other departments with regard to missing information required to captureMonitoring Deferment Aged Payables and ensuring that any issues are resolved timeouslyAdhoc dutiesEssential Skills:Computer Literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to work under pressureGood time management skills in order to meet deadlinesAttention to detail and a high degree of accuracyExperience in working in a fast-paced environmentGood Team PlayerMinimum Requirements:Matric CertificateRelevant Accounting qualificationMinimum of 3 Years experience in a similar roleExperience in dealing with Deferment accounts and SARS E-FilingKnowledge of Cargowise will be an advantage
