For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join Fugro.This position, reporting to the AP/AR Supervisor, is responsible for invoice processing and supplier master data management. The role involves ensuring all work is performed to the highest quality and professionalism in line with the company's Integrated Management System and project-specific documentation. The successful candidate will identify personal training needs, communicate them to the department manager, and take full advantage of provided training opportunities. They must ensure all activities prioritize health, safety, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.Key tasks include:Posting invoices, verifying correct coding, VAT, and approvals.Processing changes in master data with proper authorization.Handling AP-related questions from external suppliers and Fugro entities.Continuously seeking improvements in AP processes.Assisting with month-end close duties and other tasks as necessary, following the Fugro FSSC process model.Essential attributes for this role include:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.The ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.Attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Organizational skills.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.Desirable attributes include:Previous relevant work experience.Experience with IFS.What we offer:Fugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds.
