Accounts Payable Accountant

A leading manufacturer seeks an energetic Accounts Payable Accountant for their Cape Town finance team.
You need to have experience in foreign and local payables and have strong analytical skills.
You will manage high-volume invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities: Lead the AP invoicing processReconcile supplier payment reconciliationsMaintain and reconcile account payable ledgersManage the month-end closing process for Account payable modulesOversee supplier managementManage AP-related audit queriesEnsure compliance with payment terms and negotiate favourable termsGenerate reports on Accounts Payable activities and expense allocationsRequirements: BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years' experience in Accounts PayableExperience with Syspro and TrailD (advantageous)Proficient in MS Office and specifically in MS ExcelStrong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliable dataFlexibility and willingness to support cross-functional finance activities or projectsPlease note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
