Longmeadow, South Africa | Posted on 08/28/2024Key Responsibilities:Ensure clear understanding of brief with client.Liaise with client for approval on strategy and campaigns.Act as the middleman between marketing and the client.Conceptualise solutions for issues that may arise.Align the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics.Brand Management:Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights.Shape and communicate our vision and mission.Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to "take action."Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives.Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.Bring new, innovative and creative ideas to market the brand.Develop and implement strategic ideas for brand awareness, sales and growth.Assist in new brand development through strategic planning and execution.Reporting:Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.Report on analytics around Google Suite and advertising.Industry Knowledge:Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities.Devise innovative growth strategies that assist in building the brand, including lead generation for franchise sales.Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.Develop and assist the marketing department in creating brand content plans for every fiscal year.Effective Teamwork and Self-Management:Assist the Head of Creative in developing and implementing business and brand strategies.Consistently manage own priorities to achieve all deliverables.Follow any lawful and reasonable instruction from the Head of Creative.Act as part of the team and always assist other members of the team to achieve common goals.Consistently live and be an example of the Company values.Clarity in judgment.Critical thinking.RequirementsProven experience as a Brand Manager or senior marketer or similar role.Experience in planning and budgeting.Knowledge of business processes and functions (Marketing).Strong analytical ability.Bcom Honours in Marketing or relevant field.E-Commerce experience.
