Accounts Assistant

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Assistant that will provide support to the Finance department by performing a range of accounting tasks for an ultra luxurious Wine Estate.
Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Finance
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Hospitality Experience (advantage)
Sage Evolution Experience (advantage)
Intermediate MS Office knowledge
Intermediate Excel skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Problem solving skills
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expenses for hotel properties within the collection.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
Maintain financial records, ensuring they are complete and up to date.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Track and manage budgets, ensuring all financial operations align with company policies.
Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
Handle vendor and client communications related to financial matters.
Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies to the finance manager.
Support with tax preparation and filing as required.
Provide administrative support to the finance department.
