Job Title: Accounts AssistantLocation: Groblershoop - Northern CapeSalary: R35 000 - R38 000 - Depending on Qualifications and experience.Benefits: On- site accommodation, and transport will be providedClosing date: End Sept 2024 Duties and responsibilities:Accounts Receivable and Payable: Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoicing, billing, and payment processing.Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses to support project managers and stakeholders in decision-making.Expense Tracking: Monitor project expenses and ensure accurate recording and allocation of costs.Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, highlighting any variances or discrepancies.Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including contracts, invoices, and receipts.Assist with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and assistance as required.Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional financial tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or project management team.Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Relevant Experience: Previous experience (4 - 6 years) in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the renewable energy sector or project-based environment / construction Industry.Knowledge of Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.Beneficial requirements:Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed.Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new challenges as the project evolves.Commitment to Sustainability: Passion for renewable energy and commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.By submitting your information and application you hereby confirm:1.
