Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Requirements: Matric and a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Own reliable transport Strong in spoken and written English Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work independently Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel skills: V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas), Outlook, Pastel Evolution, SAP/BPO Strong reconciliation skills, understanding of GAAP, and attention to detail Duties: Record daily cashbook entries Track fixed costs to ensure accurate monthly records Monitor monthly expenses against budgets Process monthly expense claims for branches and staff Complete monthly bank reconciliations Record monthly fleet expenses Assist with quarterly stock counts and recording Support annual financial audits Provide ad hoc accounting assistance as needed Assist with month-end and year-end close
