Accounts Administrator – Cape Town

Shift Pursuit has partnered with an accounting and taxation firm, and we are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator. The client specialises in a variety of financial services such as taxation, accounting, and secretarial services. The first month of the position is in-office and thereafter remote. Key Performance Areas:

Processing and reconciling Books to Balance Sheet, together with a strong bookkeeping background
CIPC duties
UIF duties
OID/WCA duties
SARS eFiling duties

Requirements:

Must have own computer and internet connection (for remote work)
Must have backup system to be able to fulfil 8.5 hours per day, should there be load shedding etc.
Must be available for weekly meetings (or as and when required) in Durbanville with own transport
Typing at least 50wpm
Accounting package qualification
At least 5 years' experience: Sage Pastel Partner, Sage Pastel Payroll, Xero
Extremely disciplined with own office/space, free from distractions during work hours
