Accounting Practice Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Practice Manager, who will lead a team, manage client relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality accounting services.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
Manage and mentor a team.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax returns.
Provide strategic financial advice to clients.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
Represent the firm at networking events and business functions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance Professional certification (e.g., CA (SA), SAIPA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (Caseware and Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
