Accounting Manager

DescriptionThe accounting manager position offers the opportunity to be part of a fantastic team and the growth of several enterprises. Our companies include pavement technology and preservation, manufacturing, roadway data collection and real estate holdings.Duties include:Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.Responsible for monthly closing entries, accruals, expense amortization, and fixed asset depreciation.Log intercompany transactions and elimination, sales tax, inventory and depletion. Works with CFO in preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.Works with CFO in the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.Presents recommendations to CFO on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments and pricing decisions.Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by CFO. RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredExperience with Net SuiteFluency in MS Excel, VBASome fluency in SQL or information tech is helpful
