Duties & Responsibilities Job & Company Description:A multinational corporation specializing in optical, imaging, and industrial is urgently looking for aAccounting Manager to join their tech savvy and diverse finance team on a 12 months contract basis. This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations and auditing practices.  The key responsibilities for this role will include:Manage the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions for the organizationEnsuring the accounting policies and practices of the organisationOverseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staffPrepare or lead preparation of reports which summarise and forecast business activity and financial positionProduce accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential. The requirements:  Qualification:CA(SA) with completed board exams  Experience:8 years accounting experienceKnowledge GAAP and SoxGood knowledge of budget management and financial risk managementSkills Required:Excellent analytical and communication skillsExcellent collaborative skills Ownership and accountability If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
