Description:
We are looking for a driven, hard-working, and team-oriented Accounting Lecturer to join our team at Skills Academy. You will be responsible for all academic assistance to ICB, NATED, and short courses Accounting students in the following subjects:
Bookkeeping trial Balance
Business Literacy
Business Management 1, 2 and 3
Computerized Bookkeeping
Cost and Management Accounting
Entrepreneurship and Business Management
Financial Accounting
Financial statements
Income Tax Returns
Introductory Accounting
Computerized Financial systems
Payroll and monthly SARS
Business and office administration
Business Law and Administrative Practice
Financial Reporting and Regulatory Frameworks
Corporate Strategy
The successful candidate must:
Have excellent administrative skills
Be able to work independently and in a team
Have a strong desire to learn and grow in the role
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Overseeing marking and giving feedback on assignments to students.
Providing teaching resources and guidance to the students and other staff members.
Designing appropriate academic content for the study groups and tutorials.
Creating academic content such as assignments and study guides.
Responding to queries from all channels.
Managing study groups.
Creating short academic video tutorials explaining the subject contents.
Requirements:
At least Advanced Diploma or equivalent NQF Level 7 Qualification.
Must have SAGE/PASTEL knowledge.
At least one year of lecturing experience; industry experience is an added advantage.
