Accounting Lead

Accounting Lead RoleThe Accounting Lead will be responsible for leading the accounting activities for the assigned geography in the cluster, ensuring adherence to financial policies, statutory/tax requirements, and leading the month-end closing process.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly close process and year-end activities, ensuring accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet.Coordinate with the SSC on Treasury, A/P, and General Ledger topics.Prepare and submit statutory requirements and coordinate with outsourced statutory agencies.Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as SOAR testing.Implement and execute global insurance and tax strategies.Provide finance support for administrative functions, including payments processing and vendor master data administration.RequirementsCA (SA) with at least 2 years post articles experience or BCom Accounting + Hons.Min 3 years accounting experience in an FMCG environment, preferably with a Multi-national company.Strong accounting and financial skills, including internal controls capabilities.Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, BPC.
