A leading global logistics conglomerate is looking for an industrious, self-motivated General Accounting Controller to join their team based in Johannesburg East.Reference: NWN000076-NBo-1Duties & ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for ensuring accurate and proper processing of invoices, payments of creditor accounts, assets and petty cash.Other duties include, but are not limited to:Receive 3rd party expense invoices and statements on time and ensure correct approval thereofCapture invoices, reconcile and pay creditor accountsCompile remittances for all payments and send them to suppliersWork closely with suppliers and operations to resolve queriesAllocate the accounts on SunAge analysis review and reportPetty cash capturingAssistance with VAT returnsAssistance with compiling budgetsAd hoc duties required from youEducation:Diploma/ Certificate in BookkeepingJob Experience & Skills Required:Minimum of 3 years in a similar roleStrong accounting and computer literacyExperience with Sun and Pegasus beneficialStrong Advanced Excel skillsAttention to detailEffective communication skillsOrganizational skillsTeam playerDeadline drivenEffectively works under pressurePackage & RemunerationR 264000 - R 288000
