This role is based in the Cape Town office.Position Overview:Our Solution Consultants work in a team environment while configuring and customizing our real estate software to customers' needs. You will manage implementation projects and train customers on our software. Having specific knowledge of accounting will be a requirement as this consultant will support ASC 842 implementations.Responsibilities:Implement lease administration software but consultant should feel comfortable discussing accounts payable process and have knowledge of FASB/IFRS standardsAssist with modules and ensure accurate reporting of lease-related itemsGeneral knowledge of lease contractsLearn existing processes and assist in the implementation of new processesAct as a hands-on contributor, diving into the details and executing tasks effectivelyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve lease accounting issues and discrepanciesStay updated on lease accounting regulations and best practicesRequirements:Experience working with leasing contracts and lease accounting processesIncluding AP, and lease accounting standards (FASB/IFRS)Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of ASC 842/IFRS lease accounting standards would be a huge plusAccounting background is a requirementProfessional communication skills with the ability to confidently articulate technical concepts and train othersPrevious experience in consulting would be beneficialWe're obsessed with making this the best job you've ever had!We want our teams to love working here, so we've created some incredible perks for you to enjoy:We want our staff to love working here, and so we've created a few unique perks such as office breakfasts, quarterly lunches and virtual social events.
